The fine print

Pace with Purpose is a free directory of charity and activism runs, made by Akshayaa Kamalnath. Here’s everything you’d want to know, in plain words.

We don’t collect your information

• No accounts, sign-ups, cookies, analytics, ads or tracking.
• Saved runs and the motion setting are kept in your own browser and never sent to us. Clear this site’s data in your browser to erase them.
• Our host, Cloudflare, sees standard request data (like your IP address) to deliver the site, and keeps its logs for about 3 days. Photos load from Unsplash, which sees the same kind of request data. See Cloudflare’s and Unsplash’s privacy policies.

Check with the organizer

Pace with Purpose doesn’t run, sponsor or partner with any event, and doesn’t handle registration or donations. Listings are a dated snapshot of each organizer’s official page, and events change. Confirm details on the organizer’s site before you register, travel or donate. Anything you enter there goes to them, not us. We’re not responsible for what happens on other sites or at events.

Fair use of the site

Browse, save and share listings freely. Please don’t overload the site or copy the whole directory to republish it. Event names and logos belong to their owners; photos are credited in the footer. No one pays to be listed. If you believe something here uses your copyright or trademark, email work.shayk@gmail.com with what it is and where it appears, and we’ll review it. If you email us, we keep your message only as long as we need to handle it.

Accessibility

We aim for WCAG 2.2 AA: keyboard navigation, a skip link, labelled controls, and a Motion button that turns the scenic animation off (it also follows your device’s reduce-motion setting).
